Huazheng HZYN-1302 Low Temperature Precision Kinematic Viscosity Bath
I.Summary
This instrument automatically times the movement of the sample and calculates the final kinematic viscosity result.
The method is applicable to the determination of kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (i.e., Newtonian liquids). The SI unit for kinematic viscosity is m²/s, although mm²/s is more commonly used in practice.
Kinematic viscosity is obtained by multiplying the measured dynamic viscosity by the density of the liquid.
According to this method, under constant temperature conditions, a fixed volume of liquid is allowed to flow through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under the influence of gravity. The kinematic viscosity at the test temperature is calculated as the product of the capillary viscometer constant and the flow time.
