HZBS-56S ASTM D56 Tag Method Closed Cup Flash Point Tester
The ASTM D56 flash point tester is a commonly used instrument for testing the flash point of various petroleum and liquid hydrocarbon products. It adopts the closed cup method. The test sample is placed in a flash point standard cup and sealed. Then, under standard conditions, the temperature is increased at a constant rate until a combustible mixture of gas and air is produced in the minimum quantity at which a spark or flash can be observed. This observed flash point is recorded as the flash point of the sample.
The ASTM D56 flash point tester mainly consists of the following components:
