1. The DC high-voltage generator is an instrument that provides a high-voltage DC source. The instrument must be reliably grounded before using the DC high-voltage generator. The staff who use the DC high voltage generator must have professionals with a "high voltage test certificate".
2. To use the DC high-voltage generator, the user must follow Article 168 of the Electric Power Safety Regulations and install two obvious disconnect points before the working power supply enters the tester. When replacing the test product and wiring, the two power disconnect points should be clearly disconnected first. At the same time, there must be at least three workers on site to ensure the safety of the users.
3. Before turning on the power supply on the DC high-voltage generator control box, make sure that the DC high-voltage generator is connected to a 220V AC power supply, carefully check whether the wiring is correct, and also check whether the wiring of the high-voltage discharge rod is reliable. In the step-up and down-voltage process of the DC high-voltage generator, it is necessary to maintain a slow rise and slow-down. A steady step-up is one of the most important points to prolong the service life of the DC high-voltage generator. Also try to avoid using the instrument over the range.
4. At the end of each test, return the potentiometer to the zero position, and then cut off the power supply to discharge the test product. The discharge process is divided into two steps. The discharge of the large capacitor test product is applied to the ZS special discharge resistance rod pair. The sample is discharged. When discharging, the discharge rod should not be brought into contact with the test product immediately. The discharge rod should be gradually approached to the test product. When the air gap is at a certain distance, the discharge will begin to dissociate, and there will be a hissing noise. When there is no sound, the discharge rod can be used to discharge, and finally connect to the ground directly. Discharge.
5. When the DC high voltage is 200kV and above, although the test personnel wear insulated shoes and are in an area beyond the safe distance, due to the influence of the high voltage DC ion spatial electric field distribution, several adjacent human bodies will have different DC potential. Test personnel should not shake hands with each other or touch the grounding body with their hands, otherwise there will be a slight electric shock. This phenomenon is more obvious in dry areas and winter, but due to the low energy, it will generally not cause harm to the human body. The power supply of the DC high voltage generator control box is AC 220V±10%, 50Hz. If the power supply is changed by 1/1 isolation or a spontaneous power supply is used on site, the power supply must be connected to the ground artificially.
