ASTM D97 D2500 Oil Pour Point Test Equipment
Introduction
The HZNQ-1103 Automatic Pour Point Test Equipment is designed for measuring the pour point of most petroleum products, including diesel oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, and others. The pour point test confirms the lowest temperature at which a petroleum product can flow during cooling. This parameter directly affects pump transportation ability during storage.
Additives can improve the flow of petroleum products under low temperature by changing the crystal structure of straight‑chain alkanes, thereby lowering the pour point. However, the actual performance of the petroleum product is not improved simply by a decrease in pour point.
The apparatus is equipped with one test bath. Operators can control the equipment via keyboard, touch screen, or mouse. Once the test begins, all procedures are fully automatic.
The instrument is manufactured strictly in accordance with ASTM D97 and ASTM D2500 standards.

Maintenance and Calibration
To prevent aging of the instrument, it is recommended to clean the instrument shell regularly. Avoid using organic solvents to prevent damage to plastic parts.
Keep the refrigerator radiator clean and remove dust frequently. Open the panel on the right side of the instrument for dust removal and maintenance. Note that excessive dust may cause the compressor to overheat, leading to more serious damage.
Similarly, dust inside the jacket should also be cleaned regularly.
Regularly inspect the PT100 detector, the photoelectric detector, and the sample tube to ensure they are intact and clean.
Clean the fan filter on the right side of the control box regularly.
