The transformer is mainly composed of three parts, iron core, winding and other components.
1. Iron core
The iron core is the main body of the transformer, which is further divided into two parts: the iron core column and the yoke. Among them, the iron core column pig dog is the main magnetic circuit, and the yoke makes the magnetic circuit form a closed loop.

2. Winding
The winding is the circuit part of the transformer and is made of copper or aluminum insulated wire. The function of the winding is to generate alternating magnetic flux and induced electromotive force when the alternating current is passed.
The common winding methods of windings in the iron core are mainly concentric and segmented.
The concentric type means that the winding of the power supply end is wound on the inner layer, and after adding insulating material, the winding connected to the load end is wound on the outer layer; on the core.
3. Other parts
Taking a typical oil-immersed power transformer as an example, other components mainly include the body, oil tank, transformer oil, radiator, insulating bushing, tap changer and relay protection device.
