After the flashpoint meter is used for a certain period of time, a certain amount of dust will accumulate inside. The maintenance engineer or under the guidance of the engineer regularly opens the instrument cover to remove the internal dust. At the same time, the radiator of each heating element is re-tightened. Clean the sealed window, calibrate the optical path if necessary, clean the mechanical parts and lubricate the necessary parts, then restore the original state, and then perform some necessary inspections, adjustments and records.
Points to note when operating the flash point tester
1. Be sure to use a reliable grounded power socket to power the instrument. During the test, there is high heat in the oil cup and its vicinity, and it is forbidden to touch it!
2. There must be someone on duty during the test. If the sample burns after the test, cover the oil cup with the oil cup lid in time. The oil cup lid is hot, and it is forbidden to touch it!
3. It is forbidden to pull the ignition sweeping bar by hand, otherwise the instrument will be completely damaged.
4. The instrument has an ignition device and is operated in a fume hood (don't turn on the fan) to prevent external airflow from causing test errors.
5. The temperature sensor is made of glass, so don't touch it with other objects when using it.
6. Each time the sample is changed, the open cup should be cleaned. There should be no space between the open cup and the heater in order to maintain good heat conduction.
7. Do not press or lift the test head with your hands or other objects, and do not push or pull the ignition rod with your hands to avoid mechanical damage.
8. Only use fuses of rated value in this product may carry voltage. During the test, when the test wire and the power socket are plugged in, an electric spark will be generated. Please pay attention to personal safety.
9. Do not operate the instrument/meter without the front (rear) cover of the flash point tester. Before the test, in order to prevent electric shock, the grounding conductor must be connected to the real grounding wire to ensure that the product is properly grounded. During the test, when the test line is connected to the live terminal, the test line shall not be connected or disconnected at will. After the test is over, turn off the meter according to the operating procedures, disconnect the power supply, and manage the meter as required.
10. Do not use the flash point measuring instrument in a humid environment. It is strictly prohibited to use in an explosive environment.
