Overview

The high-voltage pulse generator fully complies with DL/T 846-2016 "Technical Conditions for High-Voltage Test Equipment" and DL/T 474-2017 "Guidelines for Implementation of On-site Insulation Tests." It is primarily used for impact discharge during cable fault testing.

This device integrates a DC high-voltage source, energy storage capacitor, and discharge ball assembly. It completely replaces traditional test transformers, operating boxes, and pulse energy storage capacitors that weigh hundreds of kilograms (a typical 5 kVA test transformer weighs over 60 kg, the control box over 30 kg, and the pulse storage capacitor over 20 kg).

The power supply utilizes high-precision, high-stability dedicated high-voltage electronic components and high-frequency high-voltage technology, making the entire unit simple and ultra-lightweight. To preserve the familiar operating habit of using a transformer and control box to generate DC high voltage, this pulse generator adopts a humanized design with safe and reliable operation. It delivers excellent impulse performance and operates normally even when the high-voltage side is grounded.
