Cable Outer Sheath Fault Location System

The output voltage of this high voltage cable sheath fault detector is 10 kV and below, fully complying with the sheath voltage test requirements specified in the Chinese national standard GB 50150-2006. It is suitable for cable sheath testing in cross-interconnected systems, as well as preventive testing and acceptance testing for cable sheath fault location.

The instrument quickly and accurately detects grounding faults and excessive leakage current hazards in 10 kV to 500 kV single-core and three-core HV and UHV cables. Additionally, it can be used for 1-minute DC voltage withstand testing of 5 kV to 10 kV HDPE and PVC sheaths.

It is an essential tool for maintenance of 10 kV to 500 kV single-core and three-core HV and UHV cables.
