HZCF-400 Battery Charge And Discharge Tester

General Introduction

The battery charging and discharging tester is primarily used for offline charging and discharging of battery packs, checking battery storage performance, and activating underperforming batteries. This product integrates constant current discharge, single-cell monitoring (optional), and charging functions into a single unit, offering multifunctional capability.

Optional Functions and Requirements

• Single-Cell Voltage Monitoring: If monitoring the voltage of each individual battery during the charging and discharging process is required, a cell collector is necessary. The cell collector is capable of collecting voltages for 2 V, 6 V, and 12 V cells. (This is an optional function.)

• Capacity Evaluation: To enable the capacity evaluation function, the cell collector must also be equipped. Capacity evaluation is performed based on voltage collection (which also includes internal resistance testing).

• Current Acquisition: If current acquisition is required, a current clamp must be used.

Charging Function

The charger automatically performs the charging in strict accordance with the curve of charging characteristic of storage battery. Designed charging mode is as follows: constant current charging→ (stabilized voltage at uniform charging) current-reducing constant-voltage constant charging → (automatically judge and turns to) → trickle floating charging. Advantages: quick charging, high charging recovery rate, no need of watch out, no overcharging incident in an extremely long-time charging, and assuring the service life of storage battery.

Discharge Function

After the battery string is disconnected from the system, the intelligent dummy load performs constant current discharge. Parameters such as discharge current, discharge time, discharge capacity, final protection voltage of the entire string, and final protection voltage of individual cells are set. The tester then automatically executes the discharge function, displaying real-time data including discharge current, battery discharged capacity, string voltage, cell voltage, and discharge time.

The discharge test will automatically stop when any of the following conditions is met:

• The string voltage reaches the set final discharge voltage

• The set discharge capacity is reached

• The set discharge time is reached

• Any cell voltage falls below the set final cell voltage

• Manual stop is initiated
