I.Product overview

Interturn short circuit of the generator rotor winding is a common fault in power systems. When such faults occur, the rotor current increases and the winding temperature rises, which limits the generator's output and affects its normal operation.

Interturn short circuits are typically detected by measuring the AC impedance and power loss of the generator rotor winding. The conventional measurement method involves assembling multiple test instruments on-site to perform the measurement. This approach requires numerous instruments to build the measurement system, resulting in heavy test equipment, time-consuming and labor-intensive procedures, complicated data processing, and low accuracy.

II. Functional features

Automatically (or manually) collect, measure, display, store, and print all measurement parameters and AC impedance characteristic curves.
