General Introduction
The HZAWA5661 sound level meter is a digital, multifunctional sound level meter with a modular design. Its performance complies with IEC 61672:2002 Class 1, and it belongs to Group X sound level meters for specifying emission and susceptibility to radio frequency fields.
The meter incorporates advanced digital detection technology, featuring automatic range conversion, reliable and stable performance, and a wide linear operating range. The housing is made of ABS engineering plastic, offering an attractive appearance, light weight, and easy portability. Power consumption is low. The RS-232 digital output interface enables remote computer control and telemetry. Additionally, multiple meters can be networked for computer-controlled monitoring and measurement.
It is widely used for measuring noise generated by various machines, vehicles, boats, and electrical equipment, as well as environmental and industrial noise, including applications in labor protection and industrial hygiene.
The HZAWA5661 sound level meter is available in multiple models. They share the same structure and operating principle, differing only in the microphone type and software authorization.
Specification
(1)Microphone: Φ12.7mm (1/2'') pre-polarization condenser microphone. Sensitivity: 30mV/Pa. See the appendix A.
Users can also equip the instrument with other types of microphones, enabling measurement of very low or very high noise levels.

Above range is the value in the factory, it may have changed when the user tuned the calibration value or replaced the microphone. The lower limit is determined by the background noise plus 8dB.
