There are several precautions to be taken when using a high-voltage divider:
During the use of a high-voltage divider, the testing personnel should maintain a safe operating distance from the testing equipment. During the experiment, there should be no other debris around the testing equipment. According to relevant industry standards, a minimum of 2 meters is guaranteed for voltages below 100kv, 3 meters for voltages between 150kv and 200kv, and 4 meters for voltages above 300kv.
Ensure that all parts of the testing are connected properly and securely, the high-voltage wires must be tightened, and the grounding terminal must be safely grounded.
After the test is completed, the instrument will slowly return to zero and can only enter the test site when the reading on the voltage divider is zero.
After the DC high voltage test is completed, the instrument should be discharged, cleaned, kept dry, and placed in the packaging box.
During use and handling, handle with care and avoid collisions or squeezing.
If there is obvious discharge sound during use, it indicates that it may be damp and the high-voltage divider needs to be dried. The treatment method is to use a drying blower to dry it from top to bottom for 1-2 minutes.
