1. Product overview
The measurement of PD parameters is carried out by comparing with the standard pulse. The indicators of HZPD-04 calibration pulse generator meet or exceed the requirements of GB7354-2003 and IEC 60270:2000.

3. Panel introduction
1．The "switch" button is the power switch, press the "switch" button to start the machine, and the LCD display "2000-" indicates that the power is 2000pC.
The default frequency is 500Hz, the power output is stable after 5 to 10 seconds, and the device is shut down after about three seconds by pressing the "switch" button after use.
2．The "frequency" key is the frequency selection, which can be cyclically set the square wave frequency, and the frequency range is 50-1000Hz.
3．The "power" key is the power selection, which can set the power value in a cycle, and the output power is 1000pC, 2000pC, 5000pC, 10000pC in four grades. After changing the power value, the power output is stable after 5 to 10 seconds.
4．The "battery" button can check the battery voltage. When the leftmost end of the display displays L, it means that the battery needs to be charged or replaced.
5．If no key operation, 10 minutes automatic shutdown.
4. The wiring instructions
1．The SMA interface is a standard square wave output.
2．The red and black terminals output standard bipolar pulses.
5. Matters need attention
1. According to the requirements of JJG 145-93 partial Discharge Detection Device, the capacitance selection of calibration capacitor Cq should adhere to the following principles:
10pF≤Cq<0.1×(Cx+Ck), where Cx is the sample capacitance and Ck is the coupling capacitance.
2．Calibration charge Q = Uq×Cq, so the HZPD-04 calibration pulse generator can output 1000PC, 2000PC, 5000PC, 10000PC calibration charge.
3．Before charging, ensure that the battery in the box is a rechargeable battery and turn it off; Please use the standard 20V charger; When the charge indicator turns from orange red to green, the battery is fully charged.
4．The calibration pulse generator should be as close as possible to the high-voltage end of the test product so that the output connection (especially the red port connection) is as short as possible.
