The three elements of power quality include voltage, waveform and frequency.
I What is voltage quality
Voltage quality refers to the difference (deviation) between the actual voltage and the ideal voltage, which represents whether the power supply enterprise supplies the power to the customer. The deviation here should be generalized, including amplitude, phase and waveform. These include most power quality problems, but do not include power quality problems caused by frequency, nor do they include the impact of electrical equipment on power quality and pollution.
II What are power supply quality and power consumption quality
These indicators collectively reflect the power quality of power system production and transmission, and can be used for power management with online indicators.
III What is current quality
It reflects the current changes closely related to the voltage quality. In addition to the requirements for constant frequency and sinusoidal waveform of AC power supply, power users should make the power waveform and voltage in the same phase to ensure high power factor operation. This definition is helpful to improve the power quality of the power grid and reduce the line loss, but it cannot summarize most quality problems caused by voltage.
