The presence of moisture and vigorous stirring are the main reasons for the emulsification of oil products. Oil and water are incompatible, and the density of oil is lower than that of water. When oil and water are mixed, under the influence of temperature, vibration, pressure, etc., they wrap each other to form countless tiny separation surfaces, which appear white under the action of light refraction. It was milky white when observed by naked eyes.
Lubricating oil must have three necessary conditions to form an emulsion:
1. There must be two liquids that are not miscible (or not completely miscible);
2. There should be an emulsifier (surfactant that can reduce the interfacial tension) in the two mixed liquids;
3. There must be energy to form an emulsion, such as strong stirring, circulation, and flow. Moisture, vigorous stirring, and emulsifiers can all cause lubricating oil to emulsify.
Emulsified white lubricating oil can be demulsified and dehydrated through a vacuum oil filter. The water separation device of the oil filtering equipment uses the principle of molecular separation technology to perform variable pressure analysis on the oil, eliminates the intermolecular binding force, so that the dissolved water and free water in the oil are quickly broken and the oil film is separated from the oil molecules and precipitated; the treated water The score, after recycling, can completely meet or even exceed the national requirements for water content in oil. Therefore, emulsified and whitish lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, steam turbine oil (and light diesel kerosene) can all be solved by our company's lubricating oil vacuum oil filter.
