This Kinematic Viscometer is designed and manufactured specially according to the national standard "GB265 – 88 Determination of kinematic viscosity of petroleum products" . It's suitable to determine kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products. This apparatus has the function of timing of the trial sample movement and can calculate the final result of kinematic viscosity. This method is suitable to determine kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products ( It refers to Newtonian liquids ), and its unit is m2/s. Generally in actual utilization, the unit is mm2/s. The dynamic viscosity is equal with the result which use kinematic viscosity to multiply the density of the liquid. By this method, it can determine the time that the liquid with the certain volume flows past the calibrated glass capillary viscometer under the gravity in the certain stable temperature and the value that the constant value of capillary in the viscometer multiplies the flowing time, that is , the determined kinematic viscosity of liquid at the temperature. At the temperature, the value that kinematic viscosity multiplies the density of the liquid in the same temperature is the dynamic viscosity at the temperature.

Attentions

(1). When there is no water inside the aquarium, it prohibits power on.

(2). In the liquid of the bathtub, there can't be impurities and floating materials in order to avoid to block the test holes. For the new bath liquid , it often appears bubbles when heating, which will affect the test, especially when it appears bubbles in the test holes, it will have the most serious affect. Please loose the capillary to check if there is bubble in the test holes. If it appears, please use the hose to blow in order to get rid of the bubbles or use the clean the toothbrush to wash off the bubbles.

(3). Before we use the apparatus, we must ensure the reliable earthing.

(4). When we re-start the apparatus, the interval of use need to be above 15 minutes. And the apparatus is started in the cold bath state, and it needs to be used after 45 minutes.

(5). When we rectify the temperature with the full-immersion thermometer, the effective scale of the thermometer can't be exposed to the liquid level of the constant temperature bath.

(6). Prohibit to store or use the apparatus in the wet environment with the corrosive gas.

(7). When we clip the capillary, please note the height of upper opening and avoid to enter water in test tube.

(8). After use for a period or when we find the oil level measurement is insensitive, we should clean the test holes in the test clip in time.

(9). During using the apparatus, if appears fault, you should invite the professionals to repair and contact with us in time. If it's quality problem, we can offer the gratuitous warranty within one year.

(10). For the power source, you must keep the good earthing.
