I. Overview

The HZJZ-200V transformer turns ratio calibration standard, also known as a power frequency induction voltage divider, is a ratio conversion device composed of three interconnected transformers. Through switch switching, the output voltage of the device is equal to a proportional value of the input voltage.

It offers the advantages of accurate voltage ratio, stability, and universal ratio selection. In addition, the equipment features high input impedance and low output impedance, providing important performance characteristics for precise electrical measurement.

III. Working Principle

The equipment is designed using the highest accuracy two-stage transformer configuration. This design overcomes the disadvantage that, in a parallel multi-disk induction voltage divider, the rear plate imposes a significant load on the front plate. It also eliminates the drawbacks of series-type designs, such as increased isolation error and low input impedance.

The schematic diagram of the two-stage transformer type multi-disk induction voltage divider is shown on the following page. As can be seen from the figure, the multi-disk induction voltage divider consists of multiple two-stage induction voltage dividers connected in parallel. The 1/10 section of the previous stage proportional winding connects a segment of voltage to both ends of the next stage proportional winding via a double-pole switch, forcing the next disk to have a voltage equal to 1/10 of the voltage of the previous disk. Due to the excitation winding, the next disk is divided into the front disk.

The circuit has little influence and eliminates the isolation error, so it can obtain high accuracy.

Precautions for Use

Grounding Safety – The grounding of the instrument and the cabinet must be reliable to ensure safe operation and prevent electrical hazards.

Range Switching – When switching measurement ranges, do not operate under full voltage. Always reduce the voltage to at least below 100 V before making any range changes to protect the instrument from damage.

Output Voltage Error Troubleshooting – If the output voltage error is found to be excessively large, systematically check the following: verify that all wiring is correct, inspect the fuse for any signs of damage, and confirm that the indicator panel position is accurate. Only after identifying and correcting the cause should retesting be performed.

Inductive Voltage Divider Loading – To maintain measurement accuracy, the inductive voltage divider must not be loaded during use.

Environmental Monitoring – The inductive voltage divider is a high-precision device. When performing verification, carefully monitor environmental conditions and ensure they remain within the specified allowable range.

Instrument Care – The instrument should be protected from physical shock, moisture, and corrosion. Regular cleaning is also recommended to maintain optimal performance.
