Matters needing attention for safe use
In order to ensure the safe use of this instrument, please be sure to comply with the followings. If no attention is paid, the contact will cause electric shock, which may lead to death or serious injury.
Matters needing attention for use
The instrument shall be grounded well. Please ground the safety ground terminal on the rear panel of this instrument reliably.
Please do not touch the inside of this instrument with hands. As there is high–voltage power inside this instrument, beware of HV electric shock.
Under the state of "Test", and when the indicator light of "Stop" is not ON, do not contact the test terminal and/or tested coil, and beware of HV electric shock.
The test winding must be replaced when the indicator light of "Stop" is ON; after that, the test can be started by pressing "Start" key (or sending out "START" signal by external device).
When exceeding the limit voltage of tested object, it is very dangerous to carry out a test.
The instrument shall be used in the environment of 20℃-30℃, where good ventilation shall be ensured around the instrument.
As the instrument uses high–voltage power, please do not operate it in dusty places of high humidity.
When its power is cut off for cleaning, please use some water or a soft cloth dipped with a small amount of neutral detergent to wipe the instrument.
Please use a 3-hole socket with good grounding performance to supply the power.
Matters needing attention for start-up of instrument
Connect HV test terminal to a test fixture reliably, and connect the power supply to power socket, then turn on the power switch; at this time, the instrument LCD screen is lit, and accompanied with an alarm sound, meanwhile the instrument enters the initialization interface; two seconds later, the instrument will automatically enter the state to "Ready- to- test".
Matters needing attention for use of sound mode
When the instrument is in operation, the sound mode shall be one of "Up to standard" sound, "Not up to stan
dard" sound and mute.
Under the mode of single EXT for number of Impulses (0-29) :
"Up to standard" sound: Send out a sound only when the test results are up to standard. When reaching the number of times, and stopping the test, if the test results are up to standard, send out a long sound, which needs to be turned off by using "Stop" key.
"Not up to standard" sound: Only when the test results are Not up to standard, stop the test, and send out a long sound, which needs to be turned off by using "Stop" key.
Mute: When the test results are either up to standard or not up to standard, do not send out any sound.
Under the mode of continuous INT for number of Impulses (>29 times) :
"Up to standard" sound: Only when the test results are up to standard, send out a single short sound.
"Not up to standard" sound: Only when the test results are Not up to standard, send out a single short sound.
Mute:When the test results are either up to standard or not up to standard, do not send out any sound.
