The HZJY-20K-Z HV insulation tester is a specialized instrument designed to measure the insulation resistance of electrical equipment. It is suitable for insulation testing and maintenance of transformers, current transformers, generators, high-voltage motors, and similar devices.

The instrument automatically records the resistance values at 15 seconds and 60 seconds, and calculates the absorption ratio after 60 seconds.

Absorption ratio calculation method: DAR = R60 / R15;

Select more than 10 minute length measurement.

Select the appropriate voltage and start.

The instrument automatically record 15S, 60S and 600S resistance, and calculate the polarization index after 600 seconds.

Polarization index calculation method : PI= R600/R60;

DD

This test is applicable to the diagnosis of multi-layer insulation. It is a good method to judge the bad situation in multi-layer insulating objects by measuring the discharge current value and the capacitance value of the tested object 1 minute after the test is completed.

DD value = current value 1 minute after test (mA) / voltage value at test completion (V) / capacitance value (F)

This judgment standard is the target value, which may need to be adjusted or changed by the user according to experience. It is a test method developed to test the high-voltage generator of power stations in Europe.
