PH meter consists of two parts: electricity and electricity. In use, if you can properly maintain the electrometer, prepare standard buffers as required, and operate the electrometer correctly, the pH indication error can be greatly reduced, thereby improving the reliability of chemical experiments and medical test data.

At present, the electricity and electricity used in the laboratory are all composite electricity and its advantages are that it is easy to use, not affected by oxidizing or reducing substances, and has a fast equilibrium speed. When in use, remove all the rubber sleeves on the electric and liquid filling ports and the rubber sleeve at the lower end to maintain the hydraulic pressure difference between the electric and the inner solution. The following is a brief introduction to the use and maintenance of the electrical equipment:
⒈Composite electricity and when not in use, can be fully soaked in 3M solution. Do not immerse with washing liquid or other absorbent reagents.
⒉ Before use, check the glass bulb and the bulb at the front. Under normal circumstances, the battery should be transparent without cracks; the bulb should be filled with solution, and there should be no bubbles.
3. When measuring the solution with high concentration, try to shorten the measurement time and clean it carefully after use to prevent the measured liquid from adhering to the battery and polluting the battery.
⒋After cleaning the battery, do not wipe the glass membrane with filter paper, but use filter paper to dry it to avoid damage to the glass membrane, prevent cross-contamination, and affect the measurement accuracy.
⒌In the measurement, pay attention to the silver-silver chloride internal reference voltage and should be immersed in the chloride buffer solution in the bulb to avoid the phenomenon of digital jumping in the display part of the electric meter. When using, pay attention to the electricity and lightly shake it a few times.
⒍Electricity and can not be used for strong acid, strong alkali or other corrosive solutions.
⒎It is strictly forbidden to use it in dehydrating media such as absolute ethanol, potassium dichromate, etc.
