Application
Standard capacitors are an indispensable and important instrument for every multi-functional modern high-voltage laboratory. SF6 insulated standard capacitors are mainly used in bridge circuits to measure the dielectric loss factors and capacity of test products including cables, capacitors, bushings, transformers and power transformers.

Operator Protection
The low-voltage side of the 16 capacitors is equipped with a secondary discharge tube protection device to ensure operator safety. The standard configuration includes a secondary terminal box and connecting cable. The Lemo plug features a self-locking function to prevent loosening.
Insulation Testing
Measure the current between electrode-to-shielding electrode and grounding electrode, as well as shielding electrode-to-grounding current at 3 kV for 1 minute. Alternatively, measure the insulation resistance value using an insulation tester; the value shall not be less than 500 MΩ.
Partial Discharge
Under continuous operation at 1.8 times the rated voltage, the partial discharge level shall be less than 2 pC.
