Method of operation

1. Preparation Before the Test

1. Connect the grounding terminal of the test bench to the grounding point using a dedicated grounding wire, and ensure the connection is reliable.

2. Arrange the insulation blanket/pad as required.

2. Insulation Blanket/Pad Withstand Voltage Test

1. Place the insulation blanket or pad under test in the center of the test platform.

2. Securely connect the high-voltage wire and the high-voltage electrode.

3. Apply high voltage to perform the withstand voltage test according to the test requirements.

4. After the test is completed, discharge the high-voltage components, then remove the high-voltage line, the high-voltage electrode, and the tested product.

3. Shielding Cover Withstand Voltage Test

1. Place the outer electrode of the shielding cover in the center of the workbench.

2. Place the inner electrode of the shielding cover inside the shielding cover under test, ensuring that the edge of the shielding cover is 100 mm away from the edge of the metal part of the inner electrode (refer to the figure).

3. Securely connect the high-voltage wire and the high-voltage electrode.

4. Apply high voltage according to the test requirements to perform the withstand voltage test.

5. After the test, discharge the high-voltage components.

6. Remove the high-voltage wire of the high-voltage electrode, and then remove the tested product.
