Working Principles
This system is used to generate DC high-voltage pulse signals and produce electrical test signals with required parameters. It is commonly employed as an impulse high-voltage power supply for fault detection in power cables rated at 35 kV and below.
The system consists of a charging circuit and a discharge circuit. The voltage of the high-voltage cable is sampled and sent to the voltage control circuit. It utilizes a DC high-voltage power supply, energy storage capacitors, and a high-voltage discharge ball gap to generate impulses. The system is used for fault testing and acoustic synchronous fault point location.
